Ed

Ed graduated from the University of Houston with a Degree in Accounting in 1972. He promptly passed all four sections of the CPA exam. Ed started his career in private industry working for Mitchell Energy, and next as an assistant controller at a transportation company. He moved in to public accounting in 1981, when he started the predecessor firm to this company. The company was renamed when his son, Curt, passed the CPA exam and joined him in the practice.

Fran

Fran graduated from Texas Tech in 1974. She met Ed working at the transportation company, and later they got married. In 1981, she left the transportation company to work with her husband Ed, and has accumulated more than 30 years of accounting experience since.

Curt

Curt graduated from Baylor University in 2004, but began his career teaching high school. In 2012, after the birth of his first daughter, he decided to go back to school to qualify to sit for the CPA exam. During this time, he worked part-time for his father, while still teaching full-time. In 2014 he left teaching and began working full-time in Public Accounting. In 2015 he passed the last section of the CPA exam, averaging a score of 95 across the four sections.
